My ex-husband and I were married in 1997 and I moved into the home he currently owned. He bought this home in the mid 80's with a roommate, Tom. After we married Tom moved out. In 1999, a week prior to Thanksgiving, Tom suffered a fatal heart attack and died in his mid 40's. For the week following his death Toms' presence was felt very strongly in our home. It was as if he was in the room with you and if you turned you'd see him there. This lasted for approximately one week and ended when our son, who was a year and half old at the time, was sitting on my lap and waved saying "bye, bye" to someone only he could see.
